Are you traveling solo but don’t want to travel alone? Exodus Adventure Travels is launching its first-ever exclusive Solo Departures in 2026, giving solo travelers the opportunity to see the world in the company of others traveling on their own. The specially curated, small-group trips are open exclusively to solo travelers and led by expert local guides. On these departures, the typical solo supplement is waived, so each traveler gets a private room at no extra cost.

The first Solo Departures will focus on Europe, with more trips to come. The new collection of exclusive solo departures includes a 12-day exploration of the Baltics departing August 19, 2026; an eight-day walking tour of Spain’s Andalucía region departing August 29, 2026; and an eight-day hiking adventure across northern Tuscany departing August 29, 2026.

“Solo doesn’t have to mean traveling alone,” says Ben Colbridge, product and commercial director for Exodus Adventure Travels. “These departures are designed for people who want their own space and independence, but also value connection with like-minded travelers, whether that’s walking together, sharing meals, or celebrating a memorable day at the end of an adventure.”

TourScoop takeaway: We love the idea of solo travel as a shared experience. And when the logistics are all taken care of by someone else, it allows you to fully enjoy the moment wherever you are. These tours are also a great first step for anyone who’s never traveled solo before but wants to try it out.

Exodus has also launched new European walking journeys for 2026, allowing curious travelers of all fitness levels to explore coastal paths and mountain trails in some of Europe’s most scenic spots. Departures are available from May 2026 onward.

Offering an easy to moderate activity level, Walks & Food of the Italian Riviera includes scenic coastal and hillside walks and cultural experiences like pesto‑making in Genoa and exploring the lesser‑known island of Palmaria. Tourgoers stay in the Italian Riviera’s little‑known “secret city” of Chiavari, ideally positioned between Genoa and the villages of Cinque Terre.

The Walking in Andorra tour offers a slightly more challenging experience that includes hikes along the Lagos de Tristaina circuit and Second World War trail in the Valle de Incles, as well as the opportunity to summit Casamanya peak. The Hike Corsica’s Mountains & Coast adventure splits time between the island’s mountainous heart and sunny northern coast, with time spent on the rugged GR20 trail and remote coastal paths.

TourScoop takeaway: Walking and hiking trips continue to rise in popularity in adventure travel, and we love the idea of combining the concept of slow travel with time in nature. Traveling by foot opens up the chance for cultural connections and observations you might not get while riding on a tour bus.
