Exodus offers more than 500 itineraries that travel to more than 170 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, the Americas, the Middle East, Oceania, and the Polar regions.

New tours for 2025

New Exodus trips for 2025 include a weeklong Kenya Safari Adventure, a 13-day trek of the GR20 of Corsica, and a small-group premium adventure to Madeira.

Tour types

Exodus tours are available in a variety of styles, including guided group adventures, self-guided trips, premium tours with lots of creature comforts, and private group experiences. Cultural tours help participants immerse themselves in the local traditions, cuisines, and lifestyles of a destination, and family tours feature itineraries designed for travelers of varying ages that everyone will enjoy.

Walking, hiking, and trekking tours plus biking trips provide options for active travelers, while wildlife tours on all seven continents help tourgoers observe wildlife in their natural habitats. And for those who love cold weather, Exodus leads winter tours and polar expeditions.

Tour guides

Exodus guides are hand-picked for their exemplary local knowledge and expertise. Because they know their destination inside and out, guides share local markets, family-run restaurants, hidden trails, and other off-the-beaten path spots. Where possible, the company trains local residents through efforts like its Mountain Lioness program, which has helped more than 30 Tanzanian women become certified guides on Mount Kilimanjaro since 2020.

North American travelers also receive a free one-year Priority Pass membership with two complimentary lounge visits. Airfare to and from the destination, optional activities, personal expenses, and some meals are not included in tour prices.

Typical travelers

Most travelers on Exodus tours are 55 and older, but the company caters to a diverse clientele that includes families and couples. Solo travelers make up 40% of participants.

Communication

Once travelers pay the deposit for a tour, a booking confirmation and invoice is sent via email. The company sends a payment reminder one to two weeks before the balance of payment is due, a company representative gets in touch eight weeks before the tour with the latest copy of the trip notes, and final joining instructions are sent out two to three weeks before departure. Support is available by phone, email, and live chat throughout the process, and tour leaders provide on-the-ground assistance and updates throughout the trip.

After seven trips members upgrade to Pioneer level, which offers 10% discounts on trips and the ability to change bookings anytime at no extra cost.

Sustainability efforts

As a Certified B Corporation, Exodus integrates sustainability into its operations, aiming to leave a positive impact on the destinations it visits. The company works to offset trip emissions by rewilding 100 square meters for every Exodus traveler and partners with local communities to promote conservation and biodiversity.

It also prioritizes waste reduction, avoids single-use plastics, supports local economies by using family-run accommodations and sourcing locally produced food, and funds grassroots community projects and wildlife conservation programs through the Exodus Travels Foundation.
