Exodus tours are available in a variety of styles, including guided group adventures, self-guided trips, premium tours with lots of creature comforts, and private group experiences. Cultural tours help participants immerse themselves in the local traditions, cuisines, and lifestyles of a destination, and family tours feature itineraries designed for travelers of varying ages that everyone will enjoy.
Walking, hiking, and trekking tours plus biking trips provide options for active travelers, while wildlife tours help tourgoers observe wildlife in their natural habitats. And for those who love cold weather, Exodus leads winter tours and polar expeditions. New private group tours are also available.
Tour guides
Exodus guides are hand-picked for their exemplary local knowledge and expertise. Because they know their destination inside and out, guides share local markets, family-run restaurants, hidden trails, and other off-the-beaten path spots. Where possible, the company trains local residents through efforts like its Mountain Lioness program, which has helped more than 30 Tanzanian women become certified guides on Mount Kilimanjaro since 2020.
Inclusions and extras
Exodus Adventure Travels tours typically include accommodations, some meals, guided activities, and local transportation. Other inclusions vary by trip; detailed information is provided on individual trip pages. Airfare to and from the destination, optional activities, personal expenses, and some meals are not included in tour prices. Once travelers pay the deposit for a tour, a booking confirmation and invoice is sent via email. The company sends a payment reminder one to two weeks before the balance of payment is due, a company representative gets in touch eight weeks before the tour with the latest copy of the trip notes, and final joining instructions are sent out two to three weeks before departure. Exodus’s loyalty program
Guests are automatically enrolled in the tour operator’s loyalty program, called Exodus Loyalty Club, after their first trip. Exodus Loyalty Club offers special discounts and members-only previews and booking opportunities. After a guest’s seventh trip, they’re upgraded to the company’s Pioneer level, which comes with even greater discounts and perks.

As a Certified B Corporation, Exodus integrates sustainability into its operations, aiming to leave a positive impact on the destinations it visits. The company works to offset trip emissions by rewilding 100 square meters for every Exodus traveler and partners with local communities to promote conservation and biodiversity.
