There aren’t a ton of tour companies geared specifically to younger travelers, but two that focus on 18- to 35-year-olds have new trips that speak specifically to destinations and travel styles favored by Millennial and Gen Z travelers.

EF Ultimate Break has launched a whole collection of Sober Spring Break tours. These tours aren’t just about sober travel, they’re also focused on wellness and cultural immersion in destinations like Costa Rica, Egypt, and Thailand. EF notes that sober travel is on the upswing among 18-22 year-olds.

Contiki’s newish Philippines Island Hopping trip has been super popular, so it’s expanding its Southeast Asia island offerings with three new trips: Bali Island Hopping, Komodo & Flores Sail, and Indonesia Island Hopping. The new trips start in July, just in time to meet the 20% increase in interest from Contiki travelers in booking Asia tours.

The Scoop

Travel is such a great way to meet people, and traveling with a group of people in your age bracket means you’re with other curious, adventurous people excited about seeing the world. It’s cool to see these EF sober trips for younger travelers, especially since sometimes tours are geared toward a drinking vibe. And Contiki handling all the logistics for these island-hopping tours puts off-the-beaten path destinations within reach.
