Exodus has four itineraries, all led by expert local guides, that range in length from eight to 15 days:

  • A Taste of Cuba: This eight-day tour offers both a figurative taste of Cuba’s culture and a literal taste of its foods and drinks. The itinerary mixes city tours, museums, and historical sites with local meals, time spent listening to music and playing dominoes, and cocktails and dance classes. ($2,475 per person not including flights)
  • Cuban Highlights Ride: This eight-day cycling tour (six days of cycling) takes travelers into rural Western Cuba. The transportation is active but the pace is mostly leisurely. The tour also includes time in Havana, where guests go on a classic car tour of the city. ($2,475 per person not including flights)
  • Cycling Cuba: This 15-day cycling tour (12 days of cycling) is an ambitious and moderately paced tour that goes all over the country (via bicycle and coach transfers), with stops in cities and towns including Havana, Camaguey, Holguin, Santiago, and Playa Jibacoa. ($4,350 per person not including flights)
  • Cuba: La Isla Grande: This 15-day coach tour offers Exodus’ most comprehensive look at Cuba. It includes city tours, visits with local families, stops to see conservation projects, museums, historic sites, national parks, and more. ($4,500 per person not including flights)

If you’ve looked into travel from the U.S. to Cuba before, you know there are some extra hoops to jump through due to sanctions. Basically, you can’t just go on vacation to Cuba; instead, your reason for going and the way you travel has to fit in one of a dozen reasons for going. So organized group travel that’s in compliance with the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is a good way to outsource the complicated planning.

BETTER TRAVEL, BETTER WORLD: Here’s how 5 tour companies are taking sustainability seriously

It’s also a great way make the most of a trip to Cuba, since tour companies like Exodus have relationships with local organizations that offer memorable local experiences that help travelers go deep. Each itinerary is built around Exodus’ sustainability focus that aims to improve life for local communities, protects local nature, and keeps the carbon footprint of the tour low.
