Two new Trafalgar tours were recently announced. Both are U.S.-based itineraries that will debut in 2023. Here’s the scoop:

  • Trafalgar’s new National Parks & Native Trails of the Dakotas itinerary is a nine-day tour through North and South Dakota. Stops along the way include Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Badlands National Park, Mt. Rushmore. There’s also a big focus on supporting tribal tourism in the Dakotas, with experiences on Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Rosebud Indian Reservation, Standing Rock Indian Reservation and Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. Tour departures start in May 2023. Non-discounted pricing starts at $2,853 per person, though when we looked, discounted pricing started at $2,568.
  • For travelers looking for a physically active itinerary, Colorado Active Adventure is an 11-day trip that starts in Durango and ends in Denver, and explores the splendor of Colorado’s national parks. This Active Adventure focuses on hiking, rafting, horseback riding and outdoor pursuits, but also mixes in museum visits, visits to Rocky Mountain towns, culinary experiences, and sightseeing. Tour departures start in June 2023. Non-discounted pricing starts at $3,964 per person, though when we looked, discounted pricing started at $3,568.
