G Adventures and National Geographic Expeditions are rolling out a new lineup aimed squarely at travelers who want high-end experiences that go deeper than traditional group tours. Called National Geographic Signature with G Adventures, the newly launched collection leans into immersive, expert-led travel that prioritizes learning, access, and meaningful local connection.

The Signature collection spans 32 trips across 28 destinations, with itineraries ranging in length from a week to nearly three weeks long. The destinations are wide-ranging, as well: Think Peru, Morocco, Japan, Costa Rica, Central Asia, Vietnam, and even Palau, which marks a brand-new destination for G Adventures. Accommodations are five-star or best-in-region, chosen for their sense of place.

With an emphasis on NatGeo’s storytelling and research-driven approach, the two companies aren’t billing this as traditional luxury travel. Instead, each trip is built around “Signature Moments,” which are designed to offer behind-the-scenes access and deeper context. Depending on the destination, that might mean stepping inside Cambodia’s restricted Conservation d’Angkor center to meet the experts restoring looted antiquities, or wandering Fez’s ninth-century market alongside renowned Moroccan chef Najat Kaanache.

TourScoop takeaway: To me, that special access is a big part of the appeal. You might find yourself dining privately in a villa overlooking Lake Maggiore, walking Costa Rica’s canopy bridges before the crowds arrive, or exploring Amman’s Citadel as the sun sets. And throughout the journey, you’ll be accompanied by NatGeo trip leaders and specialists ranging from archaeologists and conservationists to photographers and filmmakers, many of whom are deeply connected to the places they’re guiding.
