LGBTQ+ tour operator Out Adventures recently unveiled six new tours for 2028. The new collection includes destinations where travelers can slow down and explore rather than just quickly pass through. Several itineraries also take Out Adventures guests to places where there isn’t a comparable group experience offered by other LGBTQ+ tour operators.

“Our guests are experienced travelers. They’re looking for places they haven’t been and experiences they can’t simply find on every itinerary,” says Robert Sharp, cofounder and CEO of Out Adventures. “For 2028, we wanted to go deeper, whether that means hiking across three countries around Mont Blanc, exploring villages in Provence that most tours pass over, or getting off the ship twice a day in Baja. These are trips designed for travelers who want to really experience a destination.”

The new tour offerings include the seven-night Baja California: Gay Cruise & Expedition, Out Adventures’ largest expedition cruise to date. Up to 85 guests will sail through the Gulf of California aboard the National Geographic Venture, with most days featuring morning and afternoon excursions. Think snorkeling at Isla Espíritu Santo, kayaking through Bahía Concepción, and exploring Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. The cruise is also the company’s first charter to pair expedition programming with nightly entertainment from both a drag performer and a DJ.

The 10-day France: Mont Blanc Adventure follows the famed Tour du Mont Blanc across France, Italy, and Switzerland. Instead of camping along the way as many Mont Blanc hiking tours do, Out Adventures tourgoers will stay in hotels along the route. Luggage will be transferred between accommodations, so hikers can carry just a daypack.

The 10-day France: Provence & the French Riviera trip weaves in LGBTQ+ history as guests travel the region, exploring the Riviera’s gay literary history in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and tracing the footsteps of author James Baldwin in Saint-Paul-de-Vence. The itinerary also includes a visit to Picasso’s former studio in Antibes and a private wine tasting.

Elsewhere in Europe, the new Sicily: Palermo to Taormina itinerary includes a visit to Godfather-famous Savoca, a stop at Taormina’s Ancient Greek Theater, and a jeep ride up Mount Etna, while the Ireland: Dublin & the Kerry Way trip takes travelers to cliffside trails above Kenmare Bay, Torc Waterfall, and the gardens of Muckross House, with plenty of pints along the way. The 12-day Sri Lanka: Isle of Serendipity tour rounds out the new offerings, featuring visits to UNESCO-listed temples, ancient fortresses, and royal gardens.

The six new tours are now available for booking, and the rest of the company’s 2028 lineup will be announced in late November 2026. Every tour includes a local group leader and an LGBTQ+ host from Out Adventures’ core team.

Out Adventures offers 60 to 70 scheduled group departures and cruises annually to more than 50 countries, guided by a commitment to inclusivity, authenticity and camaraderie. All sexual orientations and gender expressions are welcome on tours.
